The Beyhive Come After Jay-Z Following The Release Of 4:44
Beyoncé fans have had a lot of feelings about Jay Z’s new album, 4:44, and his latest video is no exception. Much like Beyoncé Lemonade, Jay Z has been releasing videos for songs on his new album, and the video for title track 4:44 came out on Friday.
Even though “4:44” has been viewed as an apology to Beyoncé for alleged infidelity, the visual accompaniment to the song is about so much more. Bustle described the 4:44 video as “a tapestry of black culture, black love, black struggle, black pride, and black excellence,” and it includes references to Eartha Kitt, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Nina Simone. But as the video features footage of Beyoncé and Blue Ivy, fans of the Lemonade singer have taken Jay Z to task on Twitter.
Basically, not everyone is impressed with the personal nature of the video and song, and the implications it might have on Beyoncé.
Jay-Z is expected to release more visuals for 4:44 and by the looks of things, the Beyhive will be ready for him.
