The cause of death of Senator Isiaka Adeleke has been revealed by a medical pathologist after an autopsy was carried out.
His death sparked outrage in his hometown where youths claimed he was poisoned by his political opponents.
According to Sahara Reporters however, the medical pathologist who carried out the autopsy on the late senator said he died as a result of overdose of painkillers.
“Senator Isiaka Adeleke died as a result of an overdose of painkillers intravenously administered on him, according to pathologists.”

The Emir of Kano, Mallam Muhammadu Sanusi ll, reacted to report that his emirate spent N6 billion left behind by the former emir saying it was false.
It was earlier reported that the Kano Emirate Council is under probe by the state government over alleged corruption.
According to Premium Times, he said the emirate has only spent N3.4 billion since Mr. Sanusi emerged emir in June 2014.

Senator Musiliu Obanikoro and his family have lost N100m suit they filed against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on the seizure of their properties by the anti-corruption agency.
It was reports that a federal high court sitting in Lagos dismissed the suit filed by Obanikoro, his wife Alhaja Moroophat, his two sons Gbolahan, Babajide and Fati (Babajide’s wife) on the grounds that it lacked merit.

Police have arrested 30 people over Lagos cult clash.The clash was said to have started on Sunday April 23rd.
The casualties are not yet ascertained. The Police have arrested 30 people on Monday April 24 at Idioro Mushin area of Lagos when suspected cultists clashed in the area.
Trouble started when youth numbering over 100 invaded Idi Oro market and reportedly demanded money. Youth in Alamutu Street were said to have resisted the move resulting into a fight.
Residents confirmed those arrested were leaders and gang members involved in the fracas.
