Finally! Obama To Make First Public Speech Since Leaving Office

 

American bae of life is expected to break his post-presidency silence by giving a town hall speech in Chicago on Monday. His office was careful to note that his speech will not be a condemnation of his successor. Boohari, take note. The discussions will be held at the University of Chicago and will center on “community organizing and civic engagement”.

 

According to his office, the event is part of former President Obama’s post-presidency goal to encourage and support the next generation of  leaders. Obama, more speeches, pleaasee!

At least seven people have died after an electric cable fell on fans watching a Manchester United match on TV.

The high-tension cable fell on a crowded shack showing the Europa League quarter-final against Anderlecht in Calabar.

Eyewitnesses describe hearing a loud explosion from an electrical transformer which caused the cable to fall.

An eyewitness said he had counted at least 16 bodies, including children, at the scene of the accident.
